The 3M™ SecureFit™ H-Series Hard Hats provides 3M innovation in comfort while maintaining the traditional cap and full brim design that many prefer. • The H-701SFV-UV is a vented, cap-style safety hard hat from the 3M “SecureFit H-Series”.

• Shell Material: High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) — meaning the shell is lightweight yet durable. 

• Suspension: 4-point ratchet “Pressure Diffusion™” suspension — this system self-adjusts when you tighten the ratchet to offer a custom, comfortable fit. 

• Ventilation: The shell is vented — helps keep airflow and reduce heat build-up, which is useful especially in warm environments or outdoor work.

• Self-adjusting pressure-diffusing suspension — The ratchet suspension adjusts to the wearer’s head, reducing pressure on the forehead (and thereby increasing comfort) compared with older/conventional hard hat suspensions.

• Moisture-wicking, washable sweatband — Helps keep wearers cooler and more comfortable during long shifts, especially in hot conditions. 

• Built-in UVicator™ sensor — A visual indicator in the helmet shell changes colour as the helmet accumulates exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. This gives a clear signal when the helmet may be degrading from sun exposure and should be replaced to maintain safety.
